About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hard Services Assistant to join a highly valued and respected estates team. This is a vital role that will work closely with the Facilities Manager to deliver smooth processes and help to shape the Hard FM services stream across the estates owned and managed by Latymer Upper/Prep School.

The post holder will work closely with the Hard Services Supervisor to ensure the smooth running of maintenance in the technical services arm of our business, plus sub-contractors, ensuring that an effective and efficient service is delivered and maintained and that service levels are in line with the contractual KPIs and SLAs.

You will need either a trade qualification (or working towards) or experience in plumbing, electrical or general building maintenance. Previous experience within a maintenance function in a school/ Hospital/ Commercial environment is desirable.

Salary is circa £30,784 per annum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Facilities Manager and Hard Services Supervisor.
  • Ensure smooth running of maintenance operations.
  • Manage sub-contractors effectively.
  • Maintain service levels in line with contractual KPIs and SLAs.

Qualifications

  • Trade qualification or relevant experience in plumbing, electrical, or general building maintenance.
  • Previous experience in a maintenance function within a school, hospital, or commercial environment is desirable.
