Job Overview:
The Head of Business and Enterprise will be responsible for developing, managing, and delivering an engaging Business and Computing Curriculum that inspires students to develop entrepreneurial skills, critical thinking, and practical knowledge. This leadership role requires collaboration with staff to ensure high standards of teaching while promoting innovation within the department.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching business subjects within a UK curriculum framework
- Proven leadership or management experience in an educational setting preferred
- Strong understanding of business concepts including enterprise education, economics, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship
- Excellent communication skills with ability to motivate both students and staff
- Ability to design innovative lesson plans that meet curriculum standards while engaging learners
- Competent in using technology as part of teaching practice
