About This Role

Head of Computing and Digital Literacy

St Faith’s is seeking an inspiring and forward‑thinking Head of Computing and Digital Literacy to join our dynamic and innovative department. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented educator to contribute to a highly regarded, future‑focused Computing provision that sits at the heart of our STEM excellence.

Our Computing curriculum is bespoke, ambitious and exceeds National Curriculum expectations. Pupils learn through hands‑on exploration using robotics kits, Raspberry Pi devices and other cutting‑edge resources that allow them to build, test and visualise concepts in engaging and practical ways. Alongside this, our structured Digital Literacy pathway, strong emphasis on e‑safety and growing focus on AI literacy ensure pupils develop confident, responsible and future-ready digital skills.

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative team and will contribute to delivering high-quality, imaginative lessons across the age range. You will also work closely with STEM colleagues and the Director of IT to support the alignment of subject excellence with the school’s wider digital strategy within our Microsoft 365-enabled environment.
