About the Role: We are looking for a visionary leader with an unwavering passion for developing innovative STEM learning. You will nurture technology, research, and inquiry skills, inspiring and guiding both students and teachers. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping a groundbreaking approach to learning, creating an engaging and dynamic department where staff and students feel empowered to develop their STEM skills, apply them effectively, and realize their dreams and aspirations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and train a team of innovative and reflective practitioners.
• Teach classes in one or more of the disciplines and lead by example through your own dynamic approach to teaching and learning in your classroom.
• Foster a passion for learning and expand knowledge and understanding in mathematics, physics, and computer science.
• Shape and implement a pioneering approach to STEM education.
• Create an environment that nurtures a spirit of entrepreneurism and creativity.
• Inspire students to excel in IGCSE and A-Level examinations, international Olympiads, and competitions.
• Ensure true subject mastery and excellence in curriculum design.
• Develop strategies to help talented students perform to an outstanding level in all academic and extracurricular endeavours.
Qualifications and Experience:
• A master’s degree or doctorate in one of the subject areas is preferred.
• Proven leadership experience and track record in a similar head of department or academic head role. Experience working in UK or British International schools will
be an advantage.

Candidate Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
- Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
- A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
- Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
