Job Description:
The Head of Educational Technology will be responsible for overseeing the integration and development of technology and teaching and learning of the subjects of ICT and Computer Science from KS3 to KS5. This role involves leadership in curriculum planning, staff development, resource management, and ensuring that educational technology enhances student learning outcomes across secondary school levels.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced Diploma or higher qualification relevant to educational technology or design & technology.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working with educational technology in a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum requirements for ICT and Computer Science
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams or departments.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, parents, and external partners.
- Proficiency in current educational technologies including software tools used in ICT and Computer Science education
- Ability to develop innovative strategies that integrate digital tools into teaching practices effectively.
- Experience preparing students to IGCSE and A-Level Computer Science exams.

Candidate Requirements

- A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
- Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
