About This Role

We wish to appoint a well-qualified, inspirational and dynamic Head of Geography on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026 or January 2027. The role will offer the successful candidate a rare opportunity to lead a department which teaches every cohort at Concord College, working with Geography students of significant potential.

 

The successful candidate will have a high-quality degree in a Geography-related subject and must be capable of teaching Geography from GCSE through to A Level. They will also need to be able to demonstrate the expertise and vision to lead and develop students and teachers alike as the department continues to evolve. A willingness to contribute to the broader life of the College is expected.

We are also delighted that over 75 students have been offered placed at Oxford and Cambridge and over 150 students offered placed at Imperial College London in the last five years.
