About This Role

Malvern College Chengdu (MCC), a fast developing all through school in China, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Head of Seniors.

The Role

The Head of Seniors will lead a team of educators and specialists by providing a stimulating and nurturing learning environment and carefully structured and thorough education for boarding pupils aged 11-19 years, and will help ensure that the curriculum is innovative, meets the needs of pupils and is delivered through high quality teaching and learning that maximises pupils’ academic and pastoral potential. And will be responsible for the development and delivery of Malvern College Chengdu’s mission and values and will be a strategic and supportive member of the leadership team, playing a key role in the continuous success and development of the school as a leading international school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Seniors team.
  • Ensure high quality teaching and learning.
  • Develop and deliver the school’s mission and values.
  • Support the continuous development of the school.

Qualifications

  • Experience in educational leadership.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
