An exciting opportunity has arisen, with our current Headteacher retiring in summer 2026, to lead Tiverton School into its next phase of development.
This is a opportunity to build on strong foundations in a school where children are truly at the centre of everything we do. With a dedicated staff team, a supportive governing body, and a nurturing, inclusive culture already in place, we are looking for a leader who will continue our journey with clarity, compassion and ambition.

As Headteacher, you will be the driving force behind the school’s continued success and future development.
You will:
Set a clear and compelling vision for the school’s next phase
Lead and inspire a committed staff team to deliver exceptional outcomes champion high-quality, inclusive SEND provision for pupils with complex needs.
Ensure safeguarding, wellbeing and dignity are at the forefront of all decisions.
Build strong partnerships with families, the Local Authority and external agencies.
Drive continuous improvement through strategic leadership and effective use of data.
