About This Role
ALS is looking for a committed Teacher to complement our qualified workforce of educators. You will be responsible for preparing and implementing a full educational teaching plan according to the school’s requirements.
Essential Duties:
• Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning that reflects the IBO requirements.
• Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning.
• Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)
• Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
• Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom.
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings.
• Contribute positively to the school climate and be a positive representative of the school in the community.
• Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events.
• Observe and understand students’ behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc.
• Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc.
• Contribute positively and effectively to school wide professional development activities.
• Be able to respond positively to constructive criticism.
• Implement school policies and procedures and enforce school rules in a consistent manner.
• Take all necessary and reasonable precautions and actions related to student safety.
• Be prepared to work beyond the school day, when required, for the benefit of our students and their learning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain an open, honest relationship with their principal.
• Patience when dealing with students of varying abilities and backgrounds.

Candidate Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
- Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
- A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
- Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
