  • Use and develop students' literacy, numeracy, and digital literacy/ICT skills.

  • Use school systems to diagnose needs, set challenging targets, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback.

  • Utilize internal and external data to inform assessment, review teaching effectiveness, and refine practice.

  • Implement peer and self-assessment to encourage student reflection and improvement.

  • Provide accurate written reports and evaluations demonstrating understanding of reporting arrangements.

  • Establish a purposeful, positive, and safe learning environment, managing behaviour constructively to promote self-control and independence.

  • Ensure health, safety, and well-being; support at-risk pupils through communication with parents/carers and colleagues.

  • Manage effective communications with all stakeholders, conveying timely, relevant information (attainment, progress, well-being), and insisting on the use of English (per policy).

  • Embrace and actively support the school's Mission, Philosophy, Aims, and the One School Policy.

  • Commit to improving practice through professional development, evaluating performance, and acting upon feedback.
