Te Kaahui Kōhanga Reo (based in Newtown, Wellington) is recruiting for a kaiako to join our whānau.

• Te Kaahui Kōhanga Reo was established in 1984
• Current role: 28 tamariki (40 licenced)
• Kaimahi: 4 kaiako, 2 kaiāwhina, 1 kaitari

About the role

• 40 hours per week (8am to 4:30pm)
• Skills and experience required:
  
  • a passion for teaching and nurturing tamariki
  • fluent in te reo Māori
  • if not already achieved, intention to complete Te Tohu Whakapakari
  • a commitment to the whāinga of Te Whāriki
