Kensington Learning Space (KLS) is inviting enthusiastic and creative teachers to join our Summer Camp Team 2026.
Our summer camps offer children a joyful week of hands-on learning, creativity, movement, and discovery in a warm and supportive environment. We are looking for educators who enjoy working with children and can bring energy, kindness, and creativity to the classroom.
Camp Schedule:
Week 1 ā July 6ā10
Week 2 ā July 13ā17
Week 3 ā July 20ā24
Week 4 ā July 27ā31
Week 5 ā August 3ā7
Week 6 ā August 10ā14
Teachers may apply for one or multiple weeks.
Preference will be given to candidates who can support multiple weeks to provide consistency for children.
Age Groups:
Classes will run for the following groups:
ā¢ 4ā5 years
ā¢ 6ā7 years
ā¢ 8ā11 years

Camp Details:
ā¢ Minimum commitment: 1 week
ā¢ Salary: tax free
ā¢ Working hours: 9:00 AM ā 4:30 PM
ā¢ Camp hours: 9:30 AM ā 3:30 PM
ā¢ Lunch provided on site
Each class includes:
ā¢ Maximum 15 students
ā¢ At least one teaching assistant
ā¢ Pre-prepared lesson plans and activities
ā¢ Specialist sessions during the week led by guest instructors
Teachers are welcome to adapt activities and contribute ideas to make the camp engaging and memorable for students.
Preparation:
Before camp begins, teachers will be invited to visit KLS to:
ā¢ Review their classroom environment
ā¢ Explore available resources
ā¢ Meet the team
ā¢ Ensure they feel confident and prepared

ā¢ Comfortable communicating in English
ā¢ Experienced in education, camps, childcare, or related fields

Core Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned to the required curriculum.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for diverse learners.
- Assess student progress rigorously and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Participate actively in broader school life, including extra-curricular programs.
- Collaborate with departmental colleagues to elevate instructional strategies.
Candidate Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
- Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
- A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
- Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
