We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced KS1 and Arts/Design Teacher to join our team. Job Description:
As a KS1 and Arts/Design Teacher at Anne Francis Pre-Preparatory School, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire creativity and develop foundational skills in arts and design among young children. You will work closely with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment that encourages exploration, expression, and confidence.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years’ teaching experience at Key Stage 1 level
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 1
- Expertise in arts and design techniques suitable for primary-aged children
- Ability to plan creative lesson plans that integrate art with other areas of learning
- Excellent classroom management skills tailored to young learners
- Effective communication skills with both pupils and parents
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
