About This Role

Sacred Heart Catholic Secondary School is looking for an inspirational and highly effective Lead Practitioner of Maths to join our very successful team of staff within the school. We offer the opportunity to work in a high quality, vibrant and caring environment where we share a rich vision for our pupils and for the communities in which we work.  


Our Maths department is one of the most successful in Redcar & Cleveland and beyond with achievement in Maths at least 20% above national averages.  We are looking for an experienced practitioner with a proven track record of outstanding outcomes to work alongside our exceptional Curriculum Leader of Maths to drive outcomes even further.

   

Sacred Heart Catholic Secondary School is part of the Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust, a family of 38 schools, and a vibrant Sixth Form College. With 12,300 pupils and 1,500 staff, NPCAT is now one of the largest multi-academy trusts in the UK.

Candidate Requirements

  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
  • Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
  • A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
  • Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
