Central England Academy Trust is delighted to welcome applications for the post of Lead Teacher – Communication & Interaction (C&I) Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) to start September 2026 at our brand-new Primary School opening September 2026.
Watling Meadows Primary School is a new, growing school. Opening brings a rare opportunity to shape culture, routines and a curriculum that meets local needs from the outset.
Our first cohort will be Reception in September 2026, expanding year‑on‑year.

Pupil Places: 420 (Two-Form Entry)
SEND Provision: Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) for 14 children with communication and interaction needs (Incremental admission numbers that increase with the PAN)

Role Purpose
This is a career‑defining post for a talented teacher with deep expertise in SEND, particularly in ASC and SLCN, who is ready to shape a provision that will transform children’s life chances.
Working closely with the Head Teacher, you will be instrumental in designing:
The SRP’s culture, ethos and routines
A highly structured, nurturing C&I‑specialist learning environment
Communication‑rich curriculum pathways
Systems for assessment, wellbeing, inclusion and regulation
Strong, collaborative practice between SRP and mainstream staff
This role combines strategic leadership, high‑quality teaching, and the opportunity to work within a caring, ambitious and inclusive Trust. You will play a central role in setting up our SRP, ensuring it reflects Warwickshire’s vision for high‑quality C&I provision informed by the SEND & Inclusion Strategy and Graduated Approach.
