About This Role
Northview International School (NVIS) is seeking a passionate and student-centered Elementary Teacher to join our growing international faculty in Doha, Qatar.
We are looking for an educator who is committed to engaging young learners in meaningful learning experiences while fostering curiosity, creativity, and strong foundational skills in literacy, numeracy and social development.

The Role
The successful candidate will teach Lower Elementary grades, delivering engaging lessons aligned with the American curriculum framework while supporting the academic, social and emotional development of students.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the American curriculum
Teaching foundational skills in literacy, numeracy , and science
Using student-centered instructional practices that encourage inquiry, discussion, and critical thinking
Integrating technology and Hands-on- learning experiences to support active learning
Assessing and monitoring student progress through formative and summative assessment
Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported and confident
Collaborating with colleagues to strengthen curriculum development and instructional practices
Contributing to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and community engagement
Qualifications and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field
A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
Experience teaching Lower Elementary grade levels.
Experience with or training in an American curriculum framework
A commitment to student-centered learning and inquiry-based learning
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Experience in an international school setting is desirable but not essential.
