We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Male Bilingual School Counsellor (English & Arabic) to join our team from August 2026. The successful candidate will:
Hold a relevant degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a related field, with appropriate professional registration where applicable
Be fluent in both English and Arabic (spoken and written)
Have proven experience working with children and adolescents within a school setting
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection in line with KCSIE (Keeping Children Safe in Education) and BSO standards, including early identification, reporting procedures, and multi-agency working
Be able to provide high-quality emotional, behavioural, and social support, including risk assessment and intervention planning
Work collaboratively with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), staff, parents, and external agencies to promote student wellbeing
Maintain accurate, confidential, and secure records in line with data protection and safeguarding requirements
Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, ensuring appropriate boundaries and a child-centred approach at all times

Candidate Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
- Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
- A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
- Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
