About This Role

The International School of Monaco is looking to appoint an inspirational and creative MYP Music Teacher for the Secondary School. For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to progress to the role of Head of Department or Head of Performing Arts (Whole School). The ability to teach a second subject within the Arts would be an advantage. 

The successful candidate will have high expectations of student learning and behaviour and will join a caring and experienced team. Qualifications

  • a minimum of a bachelor's degree from a respected university

  • recognised teaching qualification

  • 3 years experience minimum working with young children

  • experience of leading choirs, orchestras and organising concerts

  • experience in working with peripatetic teachers and complex rehearsal timetables

  • a commitment to extra-curricular rehearsals and performances

  • multi-instrumentalist

  • music technology skills would be an advantage

  • experience in teaching Music in the MYP curriculum would be an advantage

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
