We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and enthusiastic teacher of 5-year-olds to join our team at Sacred Heart School, starting in mid-term 2 or Beginning 3, for the remainder of 2026. The successful applicant will be a motivated, collaborative, and enthusiastic teacher. No need to be Catholic. We can support you there.
As a highly multicultural school, we are looking for an experienced educator who can thrive in a diverse and supportive environment. Strengths in Structured Literacy and Mathematics with a good understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum would be an advantage.
You'll need to have a commitment to quality teaching and be a passionate and dedicated educator with strong interpersonal skills, a sense of humour, and the ability to be both an effective and empathetic teacher and person.
Sacred Heart School is an integrated Catholic primary school that offers education with a special character. Established in 1877 by the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions, the school is an integral part of Queen of Peace Parish.
