About This Role


This role is for a September start.


We have some exciting new positions within our Trust for PE Sports Coaches who have a passion for teaching PE to pupils of primary school age and who will support our pupils to learn new skills that will encourage exercise and sports.


If successful your role will be to train and teach our PE curriculum ensuring that our pupils understand the important skills to of how to play a wide range of sports and activities.


Arbor Academy Trust is a leading educational institution dedicated to providing high-quality learning experiences for students.. We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant PE Coach to join our team on a Fixed Term contract basis.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum qualification of Diploma in Physical Education or related field

- Experience required in a sporting field with a passion for working with children is essential

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students

- Basic knowledge of sports and physical fitness activities suitable for primary school-aged children

Candidate Requirements

  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
  • Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
  • A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
  • Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
