About This Role
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic PE & Swimming Teacher to join our team in August 2026.
About the School
St. Andrews International Primary School is situated in a safe, leafy area of Blantyre, Malawi’s commercial capital. As a well-established institution, the school enjoys an excellent reputation within Malawi, across Southern Africa and globally.
We are currently in an exciting transformational phase, evolving to meet the demands of the 21st century while remaining a deeply inclusive community where every child is encouraged to excel. Our academic and behavioural expectations are high, and we are proud to deliver the updated UK curriculum, thoughtfully adapted to resonate within both an international and African context.
Central to our transformation is the integration of AI, STEM, and vocational skills into the core of our teaching and learning. We view St. Andrews not merely as a foundation for secondary education, but as a gateway to a rich and rewarding future. By embedding Inquiry-Based Learning alongside modern technical fluencies, we ensure our students develop the resilience and innovation required for the modern world.
About the Country
Malawi, known as the "Warm Heart of Africa," is a country of immense beauty and growing potential. As a prominent member of the Commonwealth, Malawi places a high value on English as the primary language of business, science, and international diplomacy. Blantyre offers a pleasant climate and a welcoming atmosphere for expatriate staff. Outside of school, the stunning landscapes of Mount Mulanje and the world-renowned shores of Lake Malawi offer unique opportunities for exploration and relaxation.
