The successful candidate will be expected to
Prepare GCSE and A level Music students for the performance paper of their exam
Prepare and enter students for external grade exams
Contribute to extra-curricular provision
Support the music team in preparing students for concerts and recitals
Comply with the United Learning formal dress code policy
Oversee, maintain and monitor percussion equipment and advise the Head of department of all necessary repairs or replacements
Advise parents of progress and concerns under the guidance/support of the Head of Department
To maintain efficient records of attendance and progress and record these on the system used by the Academy
About you
Do you hold a High Degree in Music (Performance and/or Education) or equivalent accreditations on your specialist instrument (Grades / Degree)? If you do, then we need you.
