We are seeking an experienced Prep School Counsellor to join our team and support the well-being of our prep school students. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting positive mental health, providing guidance, and helping students develop resilience within our UK curriculum framework.

The Role

Position: Prep School Counsellor
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum 5 years in school counselling or related roles
  • Curriculum: United Kingdom (UK)
  • Education Stage: Prep School

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or related field; relevant certifications in education preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a school counsellor or similar position working with primary-aged children
  • Strong understanding of child development and emotional wellbeing at the elementary level
  • Experience implementing counselling programs aligned with the UK curriculum standards
  • Ability to conduct individual and group counselling sessions effectively
  • Excellent communication skills with children, parents, teachers, and staff from diverse backgrounds
  • Skilled in conflict resolution, behaviour management strategies, and crisis intervention
  • Knowledgeable about safeguarding policies and procedures within international schools
