Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: Master's degree in Education or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience at the elementary/primary level
- Strong knowledge of Common Core standards and best practices for teaching English language arts
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to lead a team effectively and collaborate with other departments

Key Responsibilities
As Head of Department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects related to the delivery of high-quality English language instruction within the elementary/primary school setting. This includes developing curricula aligned with Common Core standards, supervising teachers' lesson plans, conducting teacher evaluations, organizing professional development opportunities for staff members, collaborating with other department heads on cross-curricular initiatives.
