Role Summary
Primary School Teachers at Verita are responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing the Verita curriculum while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Teachers are expected to demonstrate strong subject knowledge, effective pedagogy, and a genuine love for working with children aged 5–11 in an international setting.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and engaging environment for young learners
- Plan and prepare engaging lessons aligned with the Verita curriculum
- Provide written evidence of lesson preparation
- Set and communicate clear learning objectives
- Guide student learning toward curriculum goals
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Contribute to service-learning initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Master’s degree in an area of education (preferred)
- Valid teaching certification from home country
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience (recommended)
- Strong command of the English language
- Experience in international or multicultural school settings is an advantage
Knowledge & Skills
- Up-to-date teaching pedagogy including knowledge of teaching phonics and thematic based planning and teaching
- Understanding of diverse learning styles (ages 5–11)
- Strong differentiation skills
