Role Summary

Primary School Teachers at Verita are responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing the Verita curriculum while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Teachers are expected to demonstrate strong subject knowledge, effective pedagogy, and a genuine love for working with children aged 5–11 in an international setting.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and engaging environment for young learners
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons aligned with the Verita curriculum
• Provide written evidence of lesson preparation
• Set and communicate clear learning objectives
• Guide student learning toward curriculum goals
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Contribute to service-learning initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
• Master’s degree in an area of education (preferred)
• Valid teaching certification from home country
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience (recommended)
• Strong command of the English language
• Experience in international or multicultural school settings is an advantage

Knowledge & Skills

• Up-to-date teaching pedagogy including knowledge of teaching phonics and thematic based planning and teaching
• Understanding of diverse learning styles (ages 5–11)
• Strong differentiation skills
