About This Role

Who we are:

Bellver College is a non-denominational, co-educational day school. Founded in 1950, Bellver is the longest established privately owned British school in Spain. The school is currently responsible for the education of around 200 children, from 3 to 18 years old. We cater for children of both the local community and the international community of Mallorca. Due to our one-form-entry system, the number of students in each form rarely exceeds 20.

The college is situated close to the beach (opposite to the King of Spain's summer palace) in a residential area 3 km from the centre of Palma de Mallorca. Thanks to its location and climate, Mallorca is one of the most vibrant islands in the Mediterranean, being both culturally and economically active all year round.

The position:

The school is looking to appoint a qualified, enthusiastic and experienced Primary School teacher to start in September 2026, in order to cover a Paternity leave.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach core and foundation stage subjects at Key Stage 2, including creative curriculum.

Further information regarding the position may be found in the documents attached to this advert.

This position is ideal for any professional who wants to gain some experience in international education, or someone who relishes a new challenge.

We welcome applications from newly-qualified teachers.

How to apply:

Letters of application should be accompanied by a CV, names and e-mail addresses of at least two referees (including one from the most recent school employer) and sent to recruitment@bellvercollege.com.

Alternatively, you may apply via the TES platform.

Interviews will be held by video conference.

Safer recruitment:

Bellver international College is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. All applicants must be willing to undergo criminal background checks and child protection screening, including checks with past employers.
