The International German School Hefei (IGS) is a newly founded international school with a bilingual program, located in the emerging metropolis of Hefei, approximately 2 hours by train from Shanghai. To strengthen our international section, we are looking for a committed and qualified English Teacher for our Primary and/or Secondary School.

Job Description

Teaching English in the Primary and/or Secondary section, full-time.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in English, Education, or a related field
• Recognized teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Experience in international or bilingual schools desirable
• Familiarity with international curricula (Cambridge, IB PYP/MYP) is an advantage
• Strong classroom management and intercultural communication skills
• Familiarity with language acquisition methodologies (EAL/CLIL) is an asset
