Socrates Educa International School (Salou) is an international school located in Salou, south of Barcelona, in a beautiful Mediterranean environment. It has a new building complex with potential to welcome up to 800 students (670 at present), is inclusive and offers a complete education to students aged 1 to 18. This is the first school to run with the Socrates Educa model, an innovative pedagogical system ahead of the game as a modern curriculum, soon to be implemented in other new schools in Spain and abroad.
It is a popular and happy English / Spanish / Catalan trilingual school, offering Pre-school, Primary, Secondary, National and International Baccalaureate (IB Diploma Programme) as well as the US High School Dual Diploma, with an international emphasis, and also Chinese as a foreign language. Our curriculum is based on the local curriculum but is influenced by teachers from around the world and taught mainly in English. Our former students are studying in 130 universities in 17 countries, including some of the most prestigious global institutions (see the Alumni section on our website). We are still increasing our IB and Bachillerato numbers (120 next year) and will also develop the range of subjects on offer, as well as our means of delivery.
We are looking for a Primary teacher who can teach the subjects in English, starting in September 2026.

All successful candidates should be team players, innovative, creative, able to differentiate in the classroom, bring learning to life and motivated by the opportunity to work in a multilingual environment. International experience is essential. Knowledge of Catalan is also an advantage.

Qualifications:
