About This Role
The Principal is the chief executive and educational leader of UCSI International School Kuala Lumpur, responsible for driving academic excellence, student welfare, boarding, enrolment growth, operational effectiveness, and brand reputation in a competitive international school environment.
Leading the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), International Primary Curriculum (IPC), and Cambridge curriculum (including IGCSE), the Principal ensures a coherent, high-quality learning journey from Early Years through Secondary, culminating in IGCSE success and post-16 pathways.
As a boarding school, the Principal oversees residential life, welfare, and holistic development for students living on campus, ensuring safety, wellbeing, and a supportive boarding culture.
The Principal champions a 21st-century education model, embedding the 5Cs — Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication, Collaboration, and Character — across curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, and co-curricular programmes.

Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Education or Educational Leadership (preferred).
- Minimum 10 years teaching experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership.
- Experience with Cambridge International Education (including IGCSE); IEYC/IPC leadership advantageous.
- Proven track record in academic improvement, boarding management, enrolment growth, and staff development.
- Strong stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and digital leadership skills.
- Understanding of Malaysian regulatory requirements and the international school landscape.
