About This Role

Background in Art & Design, Fashion or Textiles? Fancy sharing your creativity and industry knowledge with the next generation? We are looking for a motivated and organised Programme Leader to join our high-performing Art & Design faculty. Based in our purpose-built Centre for Creative Industries, you will teach and lead within a successful Fashion & Textiles provision, supporting students across a range of creative pathways.

We’re looking for someone who’s…

  • positive, supportive and passionate about the arts, with a can-do attitude

  • a strong communicator, able to build positive relationships with students and colleagues

  • well organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities

  • experienced in teaching at post-compulsory level

  • knowledgeable in contemporary fashion and textiles practice

  • qualified to degree level or with strong industry experience

  • willing to work towards a teaching qualification (if not already held)

  • keen to contribute to a collaborative and creative team environment

What you’ll be doing…

  • lead and teach on the Fashion & Textiles Extended Diploma

  • contribute to teaching across Art & Design courses, including Fine Art, Graphics and Photography where appropriate

  • providing pastoral support to students and helping them achieve their potential

  • supporting recruitment activity and promoting courses

  • working as part of an experienced team to deliver a growing Extended Diploma provision

  • sharing best practice and contributing to continuous improvement across the faculty

€35,000 - €50,000 (Pre-Tax)
