About This Role
Curriculum & Planning
Collaborate with PYP Homeroom Teachers to integrate STEM into Units of Inquiry
Design and implement STEM projects, experiments, and activities
Align lessons with IB learner profile attributes and approaches to learning (ATL skills)
Assessment & Reporting
Assess student progress using formative and summative assessments
Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress with parents
Contribute to report writing and parent-teacher conferences
Classroom Environment
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies
Ensure proper use and maintenance of STEM resources, tools, and equipment
Collaboration & Professional Development
Work collaboratively with academic staff, coordinators, and leadership teams
Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs
Stay updated with current trends in STEM education and IB practices
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in STEM or related subjects
Experience in IB PYP (preferred)
Experience in international schools is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and IB PYP philosophy
Ability to integrate technology into teaching (e.g., coding, robotics, digital tools)
Excellent classroom management skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Creative and innovative teaching approach

Candidate Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
- Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
- A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
- Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
