Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys is seeking an inspiring and innovative Technology Specialist to teach High School Robotics and support the integration of digital technologies into the Visual Art curriculum for Grades 8 and 9.

We are looking for great classroom practitioners with experience in either UK or US curricula, who are keen to develop as teachers, gain new understandings, and embrace the culture of the UAE.
Core Responsibilities
Teach Robotics to high school students (Grades 9–12), using platforms such as Tetrix, LEGO EV3, and SPIKE Prime.
Collaborate with the Art Department to support digital art units using tools like Tinkercad, SketchUp, and SketchSchool.
Integrate coding, design thinking, and digital fabrication into project-based learning experiences.
Support school-wide STEM and STEAM initiatives, events, and competitions.
Contribute to a culture of innovation, curiosity, and 21st-century skill development.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject (e.g. Engineering, Technology)
PGCE or equivalent qualification in Education
A minimum of 2 years' experience teaching robotics and/or engineering at middle or high school level
Proficiency with CAD tools such as Tinkercad and SketchUp
Experience with American curriculum and project-based learning
A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check
Preference
Experience integrating technology into Art or Design curriculum
Familiarity with SketchSchool or other creative tech platforms
Background in architecture, product design, or industrial design
Prior involvement in STEM/STEAM leadership or innovation initiatives
Passion for interdisciplinary teaching and real-world applications of learning
