School Counsellor – August 2026 Start

Arcadia Global School Al Furjan is seeking to appoint a compassionate and experienced School Counsellor to join our team in August 2026 to support the well-being and development of our students. This role is essential in fostering a positive school environment where students feel safe, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of child development, mental health strategies, and safeguarding policies.

• Experience working with students across all key stages and abilities.

• Commitment to the values of inclusion, diversity and well being.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Core Responsibilities

• Takes an active role in the development of counseling elements of the strategic action plan.

• Facilitate and coordinate all counseling functions to ensure the smooth running of the Department.

• Provide individual and group counselling to students to support their emotional, social, and academic well-being.

• Develop and implement programs to promote positive mental health and well-being.

• Identify and support students facing personal, academic, or social challenges.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional counselling standards.

• You must always demonstrate, model and advocate the AGS Values.
