Northview International School (NVIS) is seeking a passionate and student-centered School Conuselor to join our growing international faculty in Doha, Qatar.

The Role
The successful candidate will work closely with students, families and teachers to provide guidance, promote student wellbeing and support students in making informed decisions about their academic pathways and future goals.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing individual and group counseling to support students' academic, social and emotional development.
Supporting students with goal setting, study skills and personal development.
Assisting students with college and career planning
Promoting student wellbeing through social-emotional learning initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
A Master's degree in School Counseling or related field is preferred.
A recognized counseling qualification or certification.
Experience working as a school counselor in a Middle or High school setting.
Experience with or training in an American curriculum framework
A commitment to student wellbeing and holistic development.
Experience in an international school setting is desirable but not essential.
