Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent | 40 weeks per year

We are currently looking for an organised, friendly and proactive School Office Administrator to join our team and play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
The Role:
As School Office Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors and staff while ensuring the school office runs efficiently and professionally. You will work closely with the Headteacher and school team to provide high-quality administrative support across a wide range of school operations.
This is an important role within the school where your organisation, communication skills and attention to detail will make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors and external partners
Managing incoming calls, emails and general enquiries
Maintaining attendance records and pupil data
Processing admissions paperwork and maintaining school records
Supporting with school communications, letters and correspondence
Assisting with school trips, events and calendar management
Maintaining accurate electronic pupil records and data systems
Collecting and recording payments for trips and school activities
Monitoring stock levels and placing orders where required
Supporting data reporting and school census submissions
Providing general administrative support to the Headteacher and staff
About you:
We are looking for someone who is:
✔ Highly organised with strong attention to detail
✔ Friendly, professional and confident communicating with parents and visitors
✔ Experienced in administrative roles
✔ Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a busy environment
✔ Confident using Microsoft Office and digital systems
✔ Able to handle sensitive information with discretion
✔ Passionate about supporting a school community and helping young people succeed
Essential Requirements:
GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above) including English and Maths
Previous administration experience
Strong communication, organisation and IT skills
Ability to manage confidential information professionally
Desirable Experience:
Experience working in a school or educational environment
Knowledge of school management systems (e.g. Bromcom)
Experience working with SEND students
First Aid, Fire Marshal or similar training
