Teacher of Science
Capital School Bahrain – British Curriculum International School
Capital School Bahrain is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our growing secondary team from September 2026.
The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to A-Level Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) as the school continues to expand its post-16 provision. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed classroom practitioner to join a supportive and forward-thinking British curriculum school.
Key Responsibilities include:
Delivering high-quality Science lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5
Contributing to planning and assessment within the Science department
Supporting strong student progress and outcomes at IGCSE and A-Level
Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and high expectations
Working collaboratively within the department and wider school community
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualified teacher status in a Science specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
Experience teaching the English National Curriculum and KS4 Science
Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
A commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing
Experience or interest in A-Level Science (desirable)

Candidate Requirements

- Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
- A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
- Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
