Key Responsibilities

Applicants must be able to demonstrate in their application or at interview:

  • 2 years full time teaching experience either in the UK or in a British Curriculum school.

  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and current assessment practices

  • Experience of using data systems, student tracking, intervention, Target Setting, Assessment, Recording & Reporting

  • A desire to be outstanding in teaching and learning

  • Prepared to establish strong partnerships with our parent, enabling our students to succeed

  • To collaborate and support whole school initiatives and the school improvement cycle

The Role

Specialist teacher responsible for planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons across primary year groups (Year 1 to Year 6). The successful candidate will develop engaging and progressive schemes of work that build pupils' scientific knowledge, investigative skills, and working scientifically competencies. Key responsibilities include conducting practical investigations and experiments, assessment of pupil progress, maintaining specialist resources and laboratory equipment, monitoring standards across the school, and collaborating with class teachers to support cross-curricular links. The role requires qualified teacher status, strong subject knowledge in primary Science, and experience teaching in the UK or in a British Curriculum school.

Compensation

Β£35,000 - Β£55,000 (Tax-Free Equivalent)
