About the Role
We are currently accepting applications for a Secondary Physics Teacher. The Science Department at the British International School of Houston includes specialist teachers in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The Secondary Science department provides learning across the natural Sciences for students aged 11 to 18 years old. We seek to employ an experienced Physics Teacher, to work with students in the Middle School (ages 9-14) and High School (15 – 18). The ideal candidate will be able to teach Physics at Middle school and experience teaching the IGCSE and IB curricular (or equivalent) in Physics will be desirable

Candidate Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
- Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
- A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
- Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
