Purpose of the Job:
To teach pupils within the school and to carry out such other associated duties as are reasonably assigned by the Administration.
Job description:
A secondary school teacher teaches one or more curriculum subjects to pupils Year 7 to Year 13.
Teachers may use creativity, humour and imagination to develop schemes of work and to plan lessons in order to foster a healthy culture of learning within the classroom and to generate the most effective interactions with pupils.
Teachers encourage, monitor and record the progress of individual pupils, and devise and tailor resources accordingly, including technology. They must also keep up to date with developments in their subject area, new resources, methods and school wide initiatives.
Teachers liaise and network with other professionals, parents and carers both informally and formally.
Main Subjects: IGCSE & IBDP Psychology
Requirement:
- Native English speaker
- Bachelor’s Degree with major in Psychology or related disciplines plus teaching certificate or license (PGCE / PGDE)
- At least 2 years relevant full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher
- IB DP experience or qualification is preferable

Candidate Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
- Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
- A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
- Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
