The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Secondary Science Teacher to teach across Key Stages 3–4. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, inquiry-based Science lessons and contribute positively to the pastoral and ecological life of the school.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons aligned with curriculum expectations
Promote practical, inquiry-based learning and critical thinking
Integrate real-world scientific and environmental issues into teaching
Assess, track, and support student progress
Act as a form tutor and support student wellbeing
Contribute to enrichment activities, clubs, and sustainability initiatives
Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures
The Ideal Candidate
Essential:
Recognised teaching qualification in Science
Experience teaching secondary-aged students (KS3–KS4 preferred)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to holistic education and sustainability
Desirable:
Experience in the UK or Cambridge curriculum schools
Pastoral or form tutor experience
Ability to lead a science club

Candidate Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

- A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
- Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
