About This Role

This is a full-time teaching position in our Secondary Science department. The teacher will be responsible for instructing students according to the set curricular standards while fostering a safe and supportive learning environment rooted in the love of Jesus for all children. Other duties include, but are not limited to:
-Leading Chapel or SEL lessons
-Supervising students in various contexts
-Attending and contributing to departmental and whole-school meetings
-Collaborating on a variety of school improvement initiatives
-Corresponding with parents, colleagues, and administration
-Engaging in regular professional development opportunities

Qualifications
-A bachelor’s degree in science education or science-related field
-Knowledge of best practices in the instruction of science to secondary students
-Familiarity with the Next-Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
-A valid teaching license (preferred)
-Experience working with older children in a classroom setting.
-Faith in Jesus Christ and the desire to continue to grow in relationship with Him.
-English as a first language.

Compensation
-Starting salary of around ฿530,000-฿1,000,000+. Salary increases according to and depending on type(s) of degree(s), teaching certification, pre-ICSN experience, and years of experience at ICSN.
-Annual benefits include airfare stipend, housing stipend, quality health insurance (for employee and dependents), provident fund, and more.
-For families, benefits also include monthly child stipend and free tuition.

Candidate Requirements

  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
  • Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
  • A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
  • Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
