About This Role

We are seeking to recruit a qualified and enthusiastic experienced SEND teacher with a passion for enhancing the quality of life for every child within a family-focused environment, where every child can thrive and be happy. Applicants should state any specialist subjects and knowledge of the EQUALS curriculum would be desirable, as independence is a big part the pupils learning opportunities, both in school and out in the community. 

It is desirable that you have experience of working with children with visual impairment, multiple disabilities, medical needs, emotional and behavioural difficulties and be able to work as part of a team. You will have an adaptable and flexible outlook and have good listening skills with the ability to be firm but compassionate in nature.  

This is a permanent position for a Key Stage 3 class of up to 8 pupils, working on the Pre-formal Pathway. 

Personal care is required as part of this position including changing, feeding and medical support, swimming is also expected.

In this roles you will act as line manager for the staff within your classroom team. This will involve supervision, appraisal and wellbeing support where appropriate.

Compensation

€35,000 - €50,000 (Pre-Tax)
