About This Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) to join our team.

Role Overview:

As SENDCo at Harlington School, you will play a key role in supporting students with additional needs to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure that appropriate support is in place for every student requiring it.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong commitment to supporting children with special educational needs
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Organised approach to managing multiple tasks
  • Willingness to learn about SEND legislation, assessment processes, and intervention strategies
