About This Role

INTRODUCTION:

SNA Marianapolis International School – Bien Hoa Campus is the first fully international school in Bien Hoa city and Dong Nai province and the second member of the SNA International Schools System, which is operated under Nguyen Hoang Education Cooperation. The school began the first school year in 2021 and currently has more than 500 students.

It is the ultimate aim of the SNA Marianapolis International School – Bien Hoa Campus to connect the quintessential values of the SNA educational ecosystem, which has been established and developed over 18 years, and to provide students in Bien Hoa city with an environment that is conducive to experiential and creative learning.

JOB PURPOSE:

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Social Study Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all students receive high-quality education in line with the Advanced Placement curriculum.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards

  • Engage students in learning through interactive and educational activities and discussions

  • Assess and document students’ progress and provide grades and feedback

  • Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning

  • Communicate with parents about students’ progress and behavior

  • Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures

  • Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development activities

  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet varying student needs

  • Using a variety of instructional strategies, such as inquiry, group discussion, lecture, discovery, etc. to ensure all students are actively engaged in learning

SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven work experience as a Social Studies Teacher or similar role

  • Valid teaching certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in Social Studies or related field

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Strong understanding of teaching methodologies and learning styles

  • Proficiency in classroom technology

  • Demonstrated ability to educate in a creative and engaging manner

Physical requirement (if any)


· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer or standing to teach.

· Must be able to walk across the campus, take stairs up and down multiple times a day,

adjust one’s tone and height, by bending, leaning, and/or sitting on the floor in order to

teach each child.
