About This Role
The Modern Languages Department at Rugby School requires a Spanish-speaking language assistant for the academic year 2026–27. The successful applicant will lead individual and small-group conversation classes, supporting pupils in developing their oral skills and confidence in Spanish.
The role will involve working in conjunction with class teachers and the Head of Department. This is a fixed-term post for 20 hours per week. The Spanish Assistant is not required to work at weekends but may be assigned to a boarding house to help with evening duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead individual and small-group conversation classes.
- Support pupils in developing their oral skills and confidence in Spanish.
- Collaborate with class teachers and the Head of Department.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Experience in teaching or tutoring is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
