About This Role

We are excited to offer this unique opportunity for a SaLT to make a genuine difference in our pupils' lives at our trauma-centred therapeutic primary and secondary schools in London.

We are seeking a passionate Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT), to join our OHS London team. The successful applicant will be providing support to pupils across our London sites; Vauxhall (KS1-2), Nine Elms (KS3) and Kennington (KS4). The successful applicant will ideally be Band 6, or working towards this band.

You’ll join a passionate team delivering a high-quality therapeutic model of education, supporting and building relationships with pupils who have ACEs and complex SEMH needs, as well as other associated SEND.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring the seamless therapeutic, relationships-first, therapy offer is maintained; collaborating with colleagues in classrooms and offering effective therapy programmes

  • Readily providing therapeutic support in class, maintaining visibility and supporting learning

  • Liaising with colleagues and external professional

  • Being a key point of contact for families in relation to therapy, supporting and collaborating with external professionals as required.

  • Ensure that a coherent, consistent internal reporting system is adhered to for all therapies
