About This Role

St George's Preparatory School, located in Jersey, is a well-established and welcoming independent preparatory school committed to providing high-quality education to children. We are currently seeking enthusiastic Supply Teachers to join our team on a flexible basis, supporting the delivery of lessons across the whole school.

Position: Supply Teacher

Role Overview:
As a Supply Teacher at St George's Preparatory School, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with our curriculum. You will support pupils' learning and development during short or long-term absences of regular teaching staff.

Skills and Qualifications:
- A genuine interest in working with young children aged 4-11 years
- Good understanding of the EYFS & Primary curriculum or willingness to learn
- Good communication skills with both pupils and colleagues
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour positively and effectively
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different classes as needed
- Relevant qualifications such as QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) are essential

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
