Introduction:
We are setting up a new residential special school in Hammersmith dedicated to providing inclusive education and support for children with learning difficulties/disabilities. Our focus is on creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher to join our team. Our school will facilitate up to 20 students between the ages of 8 and 18.

Position Overview:
As a Teacher at our new residential special school, you will play a vital role in delivering personalised learning experiences tailored to each student’s unique abilities. This position does not require adherence to any specific curriculum but instead focuses on individualised support and enrichment activities that promote development across multiple areas.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably within special education or inclusive settings
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction techniques
- Ability to develop creative lesson plans that cater to varied learning styles without reliance on formal curricula
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Patience, adaptability, and resilience when working with children who have complex needs
- Relevant teaching qualification recognised in the UK (e.g., Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
