To inspire a love for literature and language, deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3–5, and support students in achieving high academic standards.
Job Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the curriculum
Teach a range of literature and language topics, fostering critical thinking and creativity
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including EAL students
Prepare students for internal and external examinations
Contribute to curriculum planning and department initiatives
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Participate actively in school events, pastoral care, and professional development
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in English or a related subject
Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE / B.Ed. or equivalent)
Proven experience teaching English at secondary level within a British curriculum school (preferably in the UAE)
Strong knowledge of GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level frameworks
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

Candidate Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
- Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
- A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
- Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
