Teacher of General Science and Physics for Key Stages 3, 4 & 5 - starting 1st September 2025
About This Role
The English International School of Padova seeks to employ the services of a General Science and Physics teacher for our secondary school. We are looking for a motivated and committed teacher with the ability to teach in all three key stages. Our Middle School follows a largely UK-based Key Stage 3 program of study. In High School, we offer Cambridge IGCSEs and the IB diploma. A degree and appropriate teaching qualification are essential, but both experienced and new entrants to the profession are welcome to apply.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in teaching either A levels or IBDP - desirable but not essential
- Passion for science and fostering critical thinking in students
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative teaching approach with attention to detail
- A commitment to student welfare and safeguarding practices
- Proficiency in English and innovative teaching methods.

Candidate Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
- Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
- A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
- Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
